Father’s Comments

As you think about life, death, and the tough idea of suicide, consider these words from Ecclesiastes 7:17: “Do not be overly wicked, nor be foolish: Why should you die before your time?” This verse is saying that even when things are tough, don’t make it worse for yourself. Don’t do things that harm you. And don’t give up on life too soon.

When you’re feeling really down, think twice about doing things that could hurt you or someone else. Remind yourself to look at each moment as something valuable. Why give up on life too early when there might be good things waiting for you. Jesus cares for you and He wants you to make choices that keeps you safe. He wants to give you a chance to find happiness.

Jesus taught about love, hope, and how important you are. His message is like a light in the dark, giving you a different way to see your struggles. Instead of giving in to despair, it’s like an invitation to find comfort in love and hope, especially when things get tough.

So, when everything feels too much, remember to treat yourself well, be careful about what you decide, and find comfort and hope in what Jesus said, even in the hardest moments.

This picture is about death, suicide, and Jesus. I felt that God wanted me to draw this kind of dark picture because well I was going through a hard trial and I was thinking about dying and death and suicide. I felt that death would be better because at least I would be in a perfect place with no hurt or pain. The top left is a medicine bottle with a poison sign on it representing death by overdose. The top right is a noose representing death by hanging yourself. The bottom left is death by jumping off a bridge or something high. The middle is death by stabbing, cutting or sliding throat. The last is death by shooting yourself.  Now comes the happy part. God does not want us to go before our time. So when going through a trial tribulation or whatever hardship call upon Jesus dude. That is why there is a red phone representing something important. And the cross and the different colors represent different languages of the world and that we need to call on Christ in trust in him. Some languages. You’ve got Icelandic Korean Hebrew or Arabic Spanish and some other ones. No matter what race or country you’re from I’m sure we have thought something like this before in our lives. It is very sad to me that suicide is on the rise it is 2023 and so many young kids are killing themselves. It is really sad and that is not the way you should handle our problems. I know that most people can relate to this picture and these thoughts I know I have.
